Yes, we know that Moscato is one of the hottest white wines in this country these days, but we don't grow much Moscato around here. What we do grow is Valvin Muscat (actually, we don't grow it, our friends at 21 Brix up in Erie do). For a few years now we’ve been making “Musicato” which was our interpretation of Moscato. And recently the TTB made a change that allowed wines made from Valvin Muscat grapes to be called “Moscato” so we’re jumping on that bandwagon.
This wine is made in a light, semi-sweet style in order to keep it light and refreshing. With great sweet flavors of citrus and tropical fruit, you should pair this wine with your favorite decadent desserts or as an aperitif before dinner.
