It’s back! Funk is our sweet-tart cranberry wine with its magnetic color. Made with tangy cranberries and rose, we’ve made this popular wine again. 

I had always thought about doing a cranberry wine, and the first time around we used Isabella to blend with it.  (We almost never do a wine with just one fruit or wine in it ...we always do blends.)  What I was looking for was a wine that wouldn't interfere with the crispness and brightness of cranberries while at the same time add an extra dimension of fruit to the wine.  In 2021, we didn't have any Isabella, but what we did have was a rose that was made from bleeding off juice from our red fermentations during harvest. This is a pretty fancy cranberry wine with grapes like Merlot and Cabernet Franc blended into it!  And the color is almost radioactive. I have a feeling that this wine will not be here by the end of summer...
